A Boho Bride at Bawtry Hall

15 Jun

I have been very excited to feature this adorable Boho Bride photo shoot by the fabulous Adele at Blue Lights Photography. Enjoy!

When I first booked into the Bawtry Hall Wedding Fayre Via White Media Ltd, I didn’t realise what I would next end up doing?

White Media have a special relationship with Bomber Command and to celebrate that along with supporting the 90th anniversary year of the british legion, Bawtry Hall will be open on June 19th 11am – 4pm for couples that wish to celebrate their wedding.

Bawtry Hall is currently offering limited free hire and your choice of caterers! So it will become the regions most cost effective wedding venue for couples looking to save on their Big Day. They even have their own Iconic Bomber Command Room!

I spoke with Sue at White Media and suggested, I wondered if Bawtry Hall would like me to go along and take some photographs, to show how different brides could look the part in their gorgeous grounds.

Queue – the shoot that happened. Here we have the Boho Theme for the day with model Amy, and owner of Serendipity Bridal Boutique who loaned the dresses for the day.

Amy did her own hair, and had her own headpiece, the makeup was done by Emma at Pokadot Hair and Makeup.

Amy is wearing a stunning dress by Gino Cerruti, which she has stocked in her shop and comes in at a fabulous £400. Bargain!

The flowers were supplied by Flowers of Distinction, who came to the rescue when I tweeted them the night before, after I realised we had no flowers for our Boho Bride. That ‘just picked’ look worked perfectly!

She also wore a gorgeous Wildheart Pendant by Bridal Designs Jewellery, to complete the look.

From having Hair & Make-up we had a 40 mintue drive to the venue, in what was then the hottest day in June! We were all red-hot. Amy’s mum helped out at her shop, whilst Amy helped me out by modelling for me.

A gorgeous day was had, the venue is completely stunning and would make an amazing venue for anyone’s wedding photographs.

I’m sure you’ll agree that Amy looks absolutely stunning. The grounds make for such a beautiful wedding shoot and would be the perfect backdrop to a wedding at any time of the year. If you like what Adele has created remember that Blue Lights Photography are still running their ‘Win Your Wedding Photography’ competition which closes on 30th June 2011.
