Real Wedding – Luisa & Chris’ Beautifully English Affair

28 Jun

Today I have one of the most beautiful weddings that I have seen recently. Luisa and Chris’ stunning Springtime Cambridge wedding offers a real sense of traditional England. Another fabulous day photographed by the amazing McAvoy Photography. I hope you love it as much as I do!

It was a fabulously English wedding full of colour, class and fun at Christ College Cambridge, followed by a gorgeous reception at the University Arms – an historic Cambridge hotel with a fabulous cocktail menu. Above is a window at University Arms illustrating the Christ College coat of arms where the happy couple met when they were both studying law.

The beautiful detailing on Luisa’s dress

Fabulous bouquet of iris and tulips

Hot pink gerberas for the bridesmaids

Luisa looking stunning in her dress

It wouldn’t be Cambridge without the bicycles!

The guys outside the entrance to Christ College

The beautiful wisteria of Christ College

Nervous much?

Luisa’s grand entrance

A lovely shot of the Sicilian side of Luisa’s family

The gorgeous Christ College chapel

Chris gives Luisa a cheeky look!

Luisa and her sister Leila share a special moment

A stroll in the park after dinner

An absolutely stunning first dance shot, very atmospheric

I’m sure you can now see why I love this wedding so much. My favourite photo being of the happy couple in front of the college by the wisteria. It looks like a fabulous day was had by all in very British surroundings. Just beautiful! A huge congratulations to Luisa and Chris and a big thank you to Jenny and Keith McAvoy.
