An Urban Love Story – Rosanne & Ashley

17 Aug

I love this engagement shoot by London based Katharine Peachey also known as Peachey Photography. Even though it is shot in the Big Smoke itself it has a very European ‘village-y’ feel about it. Lovely stuff!

Since Hackneyites, Rosanne & Ashley, are having a rural wedding in September, we all thought an urban engagement shoot would provide a great counterbalance. So we met in the early Sunday sunshine at London Fields for a leisurely wander round their neighbourhood. The weather was glorious and the colours and contrasts of Hackney work really well – you turn a corner and the landscape and architecture are completely different from where you’ve just come from. So chats, coffee and a few little photographs are on the morning menu for these two sophisticats. Lovely. Can’t wait for the wedding.

Such a sweet engagement shoot. I can’t wait to see the country style wedding! A huge congratulations to Rosanne & Ashley and lots of good luck and well wishes for your forthcoming wedding. Exciting!

Thank you Katharine for your submission, I just love it! If you would like to see more from the fab Peachey Photography you can visit her blog here.

I love the yellow and blue colours, and especially the bicycle shot! x
